Dr. Kate Alexandra, DMA (she/her) is a solo, chamber, and orchestral double bass performer and educator with a passion for social justice, inclusion, and representation.

Kate has performed with the Carmel Symphony Orchestra, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Concert Nova’s Party of Note Chamber Series, Cincinnati Soundbox, and many more ensembles. She is a member of the Chicago Federation of Musicians, local 10-208. Kate has presented recitals and lecture-recitals at notable conferences like International Society of Bassists (ISB), American String Teachers Association (ASTA), and the University of Cincinnati.
